XXX in Germany

At the moment I am stuck at the Mercure Hotel (which is like a European equivalent of Holiday Inn) in Duesseldorf right off the Hauptbahnhof next to the Red Light District.

And that just does it --- I have no more doubts about the fact that in Germany, the two places one and the same. Come to think of it, I have "visited" quite a few Red Light District around Germany...including recent intrigue "O-burg" (Oranienburg, Berlin) women in flaming red and pink plastic bodysuits which, when my friends and I tried to get money out of the ATM right around that area (for less exciting pursuits) eavesdropped, get paid approximately 3 times more an hour doing their thing than us, two pretty well-paid Engineers. And of course I just had to ask my friend to reconsider his career choice.
